Stuff with feathers and silk, expensive looking things. Showing off her money, and elegance. Though mostly just to give the appearance of a dancer. She has her uniform clothing packed and hidden in her belongs. In case things go south, and maybe she’ll be able to weasel her way out of imprisonment, by giving up her freedom and returning to duty.
Ethnicity: Well basically these days you’re prominently a certain old-world nationality or a mix of just about everything imaginable. Most of the time a person looks a certain way, but has plenty of relatives that are something else entirely. Every now and then a person’s general appearance or maybe name hint at where he or she might have come from. In Jamie’s case her father’s last name indicates some sort of Chinese linage.

:: HISTORY AND PERSONALITY ::

History: Elizabeth Morgona West was a Companion living on Sihnon, in the guild house. Not long after servicing a man by the name of Jonathan Tay-Tawa she discovered that she was in fact pregnant. Even though she didn’t know how it happened because she took all the precautions, it did. And so she had Jamie Lynn West. Jonathan was from Osiris, he was an alliance government official as was/is his father. The Tay-Tawa family is very influential, however her father was unconcerned with the fact he had a daughter. However eventually he decided to help in the responsibility. She would go to see him a few weeks out of the year. But mostly she was raised by her mother and the guild; which was rare because it was usually frowned upon but the ladies were a tight knit family thus wasn’t any other option ever considered. Ultimately at the age of 12 she began her training as a companion.

However she was always attracted to space-ships and engines. Sneaking off whenever she could to watch them land, and or work on them. Sometimes this couldn’t be described; she just knew what was wrong with the ships even when their mechanic’s didn’t even know. At the age of 16, during a brief break while visiting her father on Osiris; she never went back to Sihnon or the guild. She never finished her training, was never registered. Instead her father and particularly her grandfather took her into their house, not letting her see her mother or go back to Sihnon. They brain washed her, making her think she was in debt to them both. Her father went as far as officially having her name changed. After really seeing her potential as an engineer/pilot and selfishly wanting this for their own scheming plans.

Jamie was sent away to an academy after assessing her capability for catching up on things she may have missed out on earlier in life. It took less than a year for her to catch up with those of her appropriate age, for Jamie was very smart. She was in the top of her graduating class. She was then entered into flight school due to her extreme aptitude for flying space vehicles. Her abilities in engineering were also focused on, mostly though she liked building things and that’s really as far as her focus went. She wants nothing more than build a small, lightning fast ship, which can get in and out without even trying, speedy as gorram possible.

She spent a lot of time thinking upon various new technologies that she could put to use and was often found with engineers instead of in classes. But things got over looked cause of her father’s family. She was very much a tease; being clear that she could command a man anyway she wanted, to a certain point of course. Although it wasn’t always just men even. All things she learned on Sihnon, from training and simply living with dozens of other ladies trained to do the very same professionally.

Jamie graduated from flight academy at the top 1% of her class. Her father and grandfather convinced Jamie that applying into the Alliance military as a pilot would be a very shiny idea, and really the next step. So she did, and was accepted. Jamie was very happy for a long time with the way things had turned out. Several years passed, and she became better at her job and moved threw the ranks. It could be described as the happiest time of her life. However, things never stayed that way as she paid closer attention to the things around her and finally when she was entered into a special piloting program.

Until finally one day Jamie got tired of the daily non-sense, political crap, and horror of what she’d witnessed while in service of the Alliance and particularly the special program. She never really agreed with the way things were done, and the program scared her to no end. However, when they executed a girl she had taken a liking to, that was the last straw and she freaked. Especially since she had attempted to helped the girl and was also romantically involved with her. Most of her influence was solely her name, and she covered all her tracks. Nobody, as far as she knew, even had known she knew the girl much less was working against her superiors.

Everything seemed to be shiny; nobody asked her questions, nothing. However not knowing if they had found out about her involvement; Jamie had gotten skittish. So she requested some leave-time, which was granted. And she packet the things she could and took out a great deal of her funds out. None of which would have looked suspicious if she was really going on a relaxing getaway. She was getting away alright, she was finally leaving, going AWOL, in the sense she wasn't going to come back after her given time. But she saw no other choice she wouldn’t be allowed to just walk away.

In the mean time she contacted an old friend from Sihnon whom was a very crafty hacker. She used the persuasion of friendship and money to have him make her a nifty fake identcard; she didn’t want the Alliance knowing were she was going. This also included seeing to details within the cortex, that’d help with it appearing a little-less like a fake. While she was at it she had the remainder of her credits transferred into platinum. Jamie booked passage on several separate ships, under the name Morgona West, which brought her to Persephone. She’s been gone for a little over a month; her superiors would have notice that something’s wrong, unless they knew the entire time. She wants to find a place out of sight to hide away, and she’s starting to get weary of jumping ships.

Personality: Jamie is very smart and has picked up many useful skills during the course of her life. She flirts a lot, especially if she wants something. She finds many things funny; she has been treated like a spoiled rich brat for part of her life, so she has taken to acting like one. While she might tease, and flirt with young men she is very much sly and wouldn’t be with a man unless it was someone very unique or if she was using him to get something besides sex. She tends to wear very shiny and sparkling clothing now that she is posing as a dancer. Dancing being something that she loves to do, a thing she picked up from her companion training. She loves ships, and has the unique gift to know how to treat a ship and what it wants or needs. She treats them like a people with feelings all their own. Most of all she fears being locked away behind bars, or worse.
Strengths: Jamie’s ability to pilot gun-ships, patrol vessels, and large cruisers. She has a mighty good grasp at Astrogation and Astrophysics, she’s a good pilot with shuttles and just in general. She’s got very good raw smarts, and quick to react which helps with piloting. She has above average knowledge of mechanical engineering and particularly creating mechanical devices also with technical engineering. She’s a good dancer and loves it too, the one thing from her childhood that she held on to the most. Her knowledge of Alliance Government Procedures and secret programs makes her dangerous if ever forced/faced against them, which she’s chosen. Jamie is mechanically empathic, also has physical allure. The girl’s been highly educated, and was really born behind the wheel. Her training and absorbing of the companions skills, both at the training house and living with other companions when she was younger, gives her very good insight into people in general and the ability to dance around things better than most. Her connection to the Alliance, her family name, and old connections to those on Sihnon are also at times helpful.

Weaknesses: Jamie really isn’t a good shot with a pistol, and has no fighting ability beyond that. She’s weak stomached, the sight of blood making her ill and any other gore making her queasy. She never finished training at the guild, though she knows some things and was always a quick study, but she was never registered like her mother. She has a phobia of being imprisoned and tortured, mostly because she’s seen it done to others and knows the real horror of Alliance torture. Jamie also fears Reavers more than most do, again having personal knowledge of the horrible creatures. She has nightmares involving Reavers that wake her in the dead of night.
